Dr. Jeffrey Schuette
Dr. Schuette grew up in Flint, Michigan and attended Michigan State for both his undergraduate and doctorate studies. He graduated from Michigan State School of Veterinary Medicine in 1982. Dr. Schuette moved to Wisconsin and started practicing mixed animal medicine in Kiel shortly after graduation. He currently practices small animal medicine and especially enjoys doing surgery. Dr. Schuette and his wife have four children and two cats. When he has time off, Dr. Schuette enjoys the outdoors, being up north, hunting, fishing, and watching the Packers win!
Dr. David Mueller
Dr. David Baemmert
Dr. Baemmert's hometown is Greenfield, Wisconsin, and he has lived throughout Wisconsin his entire life. Dr. Baemmert is a 1994 graduate of the University of Wisconsin - School of Veterinary Medicine. He joined the practice in October of 1998. His practice interests are bovine production medicine and herd health, bovine surgery and medicine, equine dentistry, equine medicine, and equine reproduction. Dr. Baemmert's wife and children help him care for their family's two ponies, two cats, two standard poodles, and three horses. Dr. Baemmert's hobbies include repairing the barns and house, fishing and hunting, in addition to watching his children's sporting events and providing pit crew duty to his wife's competitive distance horse riding team.
Dr. Kate Stollen
Dr. Kate graduated from St. George's School of Veterinary Medicine after completing her clinical year studies at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Kate's background includes work in dairy, small ruminant and camelid medicine, with a focus on herd health and preventative care. Originally a native of New Jersey, Dr. Kate has enjoyed her time so far in the Midwest. When not working, she can be found out running trails, hiking and spending time with friends and family.
Dr. Brett McCaskill
Dr. Brett McCaskill grew up in Franklin, North Carolina in the heart of the southern Appalachian mountains on a small beef cattle farm. In 2017 he graduated from North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine with a focus on Ruminant and Equine Medicine. Dr. Brett's practice interests include dairy production medicine, calf health and reproduction, as well as equine preventative and wellness care and emergency medicine. In his spare time Dr. Brett enjoys outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, kayaking, hiking and spending time with his wife Morgan and their variety of pets (Zoe, Ace, Dixie and Fidget).
Dr. Becca Lust
Dr. Becca grew up in Rochester, Michigan and is a 2017 graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. She is excited to be returning to the Midwest and working as a mixed animal veterinarian. Dr. Becca’s practice interests include preventative medicine, surgery, and equine medicine. In her time off, Dr. Becca enjoys spending time with her dog Barley, hiking, and training and competing her horse Grayson in long distance endurance rides.
Dr. Holly Hovanec
While Dr. Holly grew up in the northern suburbs of Chicago, she is a proud Badger backer, and nope, not a Bears fan. She loved Madison so much that she continued on to earn her DVM from the University of Wisconsin's School of Veterinary Medicine after four years of undergraduate studies in Wildlife Ecology. Dr. Holly is honored to be a recent addition to the KVC team, and is excited to tackle a little bit of everything in mixed practice. Dr. Holly especially likes working with cattle, sheep, and goats, and also enjoys small animal surgery. She spends any free moment enjoying our beautiful area outdoors: running, biking, swimming, or eating curds. Dr. Holly looks forward to meeting you and your four-legged friends soon
