Because of the shorter lifespan of our pets, we stress the importance of an annual physical examination. Thorough check-ups and preventive care can help alleviate serious health problems. We offer a wide range of veterinary services to keep your companions feeling their best:

Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services:  Our hospital is equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your pets' complete health care needs.  Our in-house laboratory provides timely evalulations on urinalysis, fecal examination, complete blood counts and comprehensive blood panels. 
      
Surgical Services:  Our state-of-the-art surgical suite provides for the performance of a wide variety of surgical procedures.  We also offer laser surgery to all of our patients to decrease pain, bleeding and swelling durning and after surgery.
   
Anesthesia:  We utilize the safest available anesthetics to provide an extra margin of safety, especially for our older or high-risk patients. Using the most modern equipment, the patient's vital signs are monitored by our veterinary assistants or technicians during all anesthetic procedures.
    
   
Radiology Services:  Our on-site, modern X-ray equipment provides high quality radiographs to aid in the quick diagnosis of many disorders.  We also offer ultrasound services to evaluate the heart and abdomen when indicated.  This includes echocardiograms, abdominal ultrasounds, pregnancy diagnosis, and ultrasound guided biopies.
   
Electrocardiography Services:  We provide ECG services on-site as well as consultations with cardiology specialists.
   
Dentistry:  Our dental services include teeth cleaning and polishing,  tooth extractions and minor oral surgery.  We offer flouride treatments and oravet application to prevent oral disease in the future.
   
Laboratory:  Our in-house laboratory facilities provide for serum chemistry, hematology, serology, urinalysis and parasite testing. Our in-house microbiology laboratory identifies bacterial and fungal cultures as well as antibiotic resistance.  We also have a good relationship with multiple off-site laboratories to provide additional services to our clients.
    
Permanent identification: We offer microchip identification.
    
Pharmacy:  We maintain a complete inventory of pharmaceuticals, vitamins, shampoos, flea and tick control products and heartworm preventatives to meet the needs of your pet. We also carry a full line of prescription diets.  We also work closely with a number of online pharmacies to offer at home deliveries and prescription refill online.
   
Individualized Flea Control Programs:  We develop programs for the specific needs of your pet and your own particular environmental situation. We will review with you the best ways to control fleas in your house, in your yard and on your pet.

Dietary Counseling:  We will provide guidance regarding your pet's nutritional needs for each life stage, including dietary requirements for growth, weight maintenance and performance.
    
Behavioral Counseling:  We can provide advice regarding the correction of problems such as excessive barking, chewing, spraying, scratching, digging, house soiling and aggression.

Bathing:  Routine and therapeutic grooming and bathing services are available by our in-house groomer.

Emergency Care:  If you have an emergency during normal hours please call (920) 894-3414 to accommodate your emergency.  If your emergency is after hours please call the same number and leave a message including your name, phone number, and type of emergency you have.  Our doctors will return your call within 30 minutes.  Please speak slowly and clearly so we can return your call in a timely fashion
