Laser Therapy

 We now offer this service at our clinic. It is a simple procedure that can be preformed by our Technicians or Veterinary Assistants.

Laser therapy is a noninvasive procedure which can be used to reduce pain and inflammation, as well as decrease healing time. It is preformed by using a hand held piece which directs the laser light to deep tissue without harming the body's tissues. Pets may feel a relaxing and soothing sensation. The person(s) preforming the treatment and the pet's owner, if helping, will wear protective glasses.

Laser therapy can be used pre-surgercially and post-surgercially to help with the pain and inflammation following a surgery and decrease the healing time. This treatment can be used for chronic problems like reoccuring sinus problems, joint injuries, and arthritic issues, and acute problems like wounds, allergies, inflammation and pain. Laser therapy can be used along with other treatments such as medication, chiropractics and accupuncture.

Our Veterinarians can recommend the most effective treatments for your pet's needs and give you cost estimates. We also offer treatment packages for patients which will require several treatments.

The treatments usually only last a few minutes per site.

We provide this service for both small animals and equine. Small animal appointments can be made for Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Equine Laser Therapy appointments can be made for Tuesdays and Thursdays.
